Ergonomic Aid for Reader's Fatigue, Holding Books and More

Hands-free book holder - Lynn Pritchett
Hands-free book holder - Lynn Pritchett
The BookHugger is designed for comfortable, hands-free reading in any position, anywhere, for fun, for business, for school and for everyone.

The BookHugger™ ends reader’s fatigue by holding books and documents for any use. It takes up little space on a desk, on a pillow, or even in a lap. It can equally be used hands-free for person's with painful or disabling conditions of the neck, arms, hands, and wrist, such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, carpel tunnel syndrome and more.

The online store includes much more than ordering information. It shows easy set-up and suggested uses in photo format. At the Tucson Festival of Books in March 2009, inventor and CEO, Paul MacLennan, encouraged everyone to touch, pick-up, and try it out on the spot. He had soft bound books in a variety of sizes for people to try-out its versatility and ergonomics for all sorts of uses, whether as a stand for music, cookbook in the kitchen, or by the computer workstation, to leisure reading in any position, sitting or laying down.

Paul looks potential clients in the eye, and clearly demonstrates every claim, inviting customers to try it for themselves. The book holder sells-out quickly because of good old-fashioned truth-in-advertising. Arizona’s own legendary Bookman’s Entertainment Exchange founder and owner, Bob Schlesinger, gave his nod of approval and interest in potentially adding BookHugger to the sales shelves of Bookman’s Arizona stores, according to Paul McLennan. With requests, maybe it’ll happen sooner than later.

Paul says he has been surprised on occasion with appeals to autograph his invention, noting that book worms appreciate quality work and are accustomed to sometimes requesting an autograph on work they particularly appreciate.
