Lynn Pritchett
Lynn Pritchett has earned five "Suite101 Editor's Choice Awards" for her articles: Online Resources for Health Care Reform, High-Tech Pet ID: Better Than Tags and Collars, Self-Publishing VS. Mainstream Trade Publishing, Christmas Read-Aloud Picture Books , and Christmas Chapter Books for All Ages. Lynn has many other articles, stories, and poems published through Suite101.
Lynn is a Yahoo Network Contributor, excelling in a variety of research and writing genres, including book review, culinary reviews, travel reviews, health issues, and product reviews.
Lynn served as a Featured Health & Wellness Contributor for the online magazine, Associated Content. She was active on the AC's Advisory Committee, and is among the Top 1000 Writers of 2008, 2009 and 2010 at the AC. Lynn served on the '09 pilot program of AC's Category Editors. She earned the AC Black History Month Non-Fiction-Challenge Award for her story "Whispers" and the AC Non-Fiction Double 100 Award for her story "My Best Mistake Ever Made."
She is a genealogy guide and one of the original members of The Azores Connection and a contributing member of Find-a-Grave. Lynn has published articles, poems and illustrations in local and national publications. Some of her in-print favorites are her 1995-96 illustrations in national newsletters of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and her '06 article in the non-profit newsletter, The Parent Connection, highlighting CDO High School Vocational Work Experience Program challenges and successes from @ 2002-06.
Her interests, education, and career background bring well-rounded viewpoints on a variety of subjects. Health and wellness issues for people and pets, music and restaurant reviews, history, as well as current events are some of her choice publishing topics.
